About Very Finnish Problems

VFP was started by British author Joel Willans, who met his Finnish wife in London and moved with her to Helsinki in 2002. Over the next two decades his observations of Finnish life grew into a community of 1.3 million people worldwide. Every design is inspired by real Finnish life and created by Joel and his team in Helsinki. Joel is also the author of the Very Finnish Problems books, written after many years of living in Finland and still not fully understanding it.

Bought this in second hand book shop while in Helsinki, fun read which explained a lot about what i saw. Short, funny entries you can dip in and out of and the bit about sauna etiquette alone was worth the money. Read it before you visit, will definitely make you laugh and help realise what is going on and why.

This is the second book after 101 very Finnish problems. Want to know a thing or more about Finland, go now and grab copies of the two books. I learned a lot about the land, the people, their habits and costumes, the food, and much more. Everything told with humor and wit. Very good!

Loved the first Very Finnish Problems book and loved this next one as well! Maybe even more. same fun way of writing but often goes into much more detail with problems. I also liked the addition of cartoons. I learnt lots of didn't know and very often with a big smile on my face.
